R&D testing entails emulation of reference video source (transmitter) and sink (receiver) devices in order to conduct functional testing and interoperability testing of source and sink devices in order to detect and diagnosing potential problems between A/V devices.   • NEW! M42d 80G Video Analyzer/Generator module for DisplayPort 2.0 Testing. The M42d Video Analyzer/Generator provides functional and will support compliance testing for video, audio and protocol of DisplayPort 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4. The M42d supports legacy DisplayPort lane rates of 1.62, 2.7, 5.4, 8.1 Gb/s and the new DP 2.0 higher speed lane rates of 10.0, 13.5, & 20.0 Gb/s data rates with the new line coding—128b/132b. The protocol analyzer provides a snap shot status view and deep analysis using captures of incoming DisplayPort 2.0 streams from source devices including DSC/FEC compressed streams. The M42d’s video generator can be used for testing silicon as well as devices such as displays, USB-C adapters, extenders, etc. The video generator offers a large library of standard video timings and test patterns necessary for testing next generation high resolution displays.
  • M41h 48G Video Analyzer/Generator module for HDMI Testing. The M41h 48G Video Analyzer/Generator for HDMI Testing provides a comprehensive solution for all HDMI compliance testing including TMDS and Fixed Rate Link (FRL) test suites for both sources and sinks.
  • M41d HBR3 Video Analyzer/Generator module for DisplayPort Testing. The M41d HBR3 Video Analyzer/Generator for DisplayPort Testing provides a comprehensive solution for all DisplayPort compliance testing including Link Layer, Display Stream Compressoin (DSC) and Forward Error Correction (FEC) for both sources and sinks.
  • 980 48G Protocol Analyzer / Generator module for HDMI Testing. The 980 48G Protocol Analyzer / Generator module for HDMI Testing provides the deep analysis test features necessary to test the development of your HDMI 2.1 source device at data rates up to 48Gbps. Deep analysis enables you to identify and resolve interoperability problems early in the product life cycle. The 980 48G Protocol Analyzer / Generator module is also supports enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) Tx & Rx testing. The solution provides emulation of an eARC Tx and Rx functions over the eARC Common Mode data channel. Supports discovery and disconnnect, heartbeat, status and capabilities data structure as well as eARC compliance testing. Currently the module supports nine (9) eARC Tx compliance tests and nine (9) Rx compliance tests. Support for eARC compliance testing will be expanded to support all eARC Tx & Rx compliance tests in future releases.
  • 980 HDMI Phy and Aux Channel Analyzer module. The 980 HDMI Phy & Protocol Aux Channel Analyzer module supports compliance testing of the HDMI DDC bus and HDMI 2.0 CEC testing. The module’s CEC compliance tests enable you to identify compliance failures early in the development cycle. The solution is ideal for pre-testing and self-testing (where permitted) your HDMI 2.0 device. The module also supports compliance testing of the HDMI DDC bus voltage and timing parameters in accordance with the HDMI 1.4b Clarification Version 1.04, May 1, 2014.
  • 980 DP 1.4 Video Generator / Analyzer. The 980 DP 1.4 Video Generator and Analyzer provides  link layer compliance testing for DisplayPort sinks. The module also support HDCP 2.2/2.3 compliance testing for DisplayPort source, sink and repeater devices.
  • 882EA-HDMI Multimedia Test Instrument. The 882EA-HDMI Multimedia Test Instrument provides two (2) HDMI transmit (Output) ports and two (2) HDMI receive (Input) ports for testing both HDMI sources, sinks and repeater devices. The 882EA-HDMI instrument can optionally support industry approved HDMI CEC and HDCP 1.4 compliance test.
  • 882EA-DP Multimedia Test Instrument. The 882EA-DP Multimedia Test Instrument provides two (2) DisplayPort transmit (Output) ports and two (2) DisplayPort receive (Input) ports for testing both DP source and sink devices. The 882EA-DP instrument can optionally support industry approved DisplayPort Link Layer testing as well as HDCP 1.4 compliance test for DisplayPort sink devices.

  • 280 Test Set. The Teledyne LeCroy quantumdata 280 HDMI/HDBaseT Video Generator (Tx) and Analyzer (Rx) is small compact, battery powered test set ideally suited for professional A/V integrators and home theatre installers. This convenient test set enables you to conduct basic verification and diagnostic tests on HDMI/HDBaseT cables, video distribution networks and individual A/V components.  The HDMI input and output ports support testing up to 18 Gbps data rate and 600 MHz pixel rate and the HDBaseT input and output ports support testing up to 300 MHz pixel rate.
  • 780E Video Generator / Analyzer for HDMI, DisplayPort & HDBaseT Testing. The 780E Video Generator / Protocol Analyzer for HDMI, DisplayPort and HDBaseT Testing, is a handheld digital video generator and analyzer that enables you to run tests on various digital video devices and network distribution devices on site or in the R&D lab. The 780E instrument provides a 7 inch color touch screen for operation and for viewing status of outgoing and incoming video and audio. The 780E is equipped with multiple interface types including HDMI, DisplayPort and HDBaseT. The HDMI Tx and Rx ports operate up to 600MHz for testing of 4K Ultra HD HDMI 2.0 devices at 50/60Hz with 4:4:4 pixel encoding. The HDBaseT Tx and Rx ports operate at 300MHz for testing of 4K Ultra HD HDMI 2.0 devices at 50/60Hz with 4:2:0 pixel encoding. The DisplayPort Tx and Rx ports operate at link rates up to 5.4 Gb/s on 1, 2 or 4 lanes. Testing digital interfaces is supported by both an output port and an input port to allow testing of digital video sources, displays, audio devices and distribution devices. Testing hybrid converter devices supporting HDMI, DisplayPort and HDBaseT distribution networks is a key application of the 780E as well.   • 804 Video Generator. The rack mountable 804 Video Generator is optimized for testing modern HDMI flat panel TVs. The 804 video test generator supports testing of HDMI resolutions operating up to 225MHz. The 804 is equipped with four (4) HDMI outputs—all active simultaneously—for testing HDTVs with multiple HDMI inputs.
  • 804B Video Generator. The 804B Video Generator supports testing of 4K Ultra HD TVs up to 600MHz pixel rate. Tests HDMI 2.0 devices at 50/60Hz with 4:4:4 pixel encoding on sinks. Supports testing of HDMI 2.0 EDIDs on sink devices. The instrument also enables verification of HDCP 2.2/2.3 authentication with an HDMI 2.0 4K UHD TV at 600MHz.
  • 802BT Video Generator. Supports HDMI testing at pixel rates up to 165 MHz and analog composite and component outputs.
  • 881E-HDMI Video Generator. The 881E Video Generator is well suited for your manufacturing environment whether testing HDMI or analog interfaces. The HDMI transmitter supports advanced features such as 12-bit/component deep color and HDMI 3D and operates up to 225 MHz TMDS rate. The instrument is also equipped with 250 MHz analog output and composite analog for NTSC and PAL testing.
  • 881D Video Generator. The 881D Video Generators are well suited for your manufacturing environment whether testing HDMI, dual link DVI, high speed analog displays (up to 400 MHz) or composite analog output. The 881D test instrument is equipped with automation features and pattern generation functions necessary for manufacturing. The 881D can optionally be equipped with a single link SDI output.

  • 802BT-CASS Video Generator. The 802BT-CASS test instrument provides the necessary video outputs resolutions and test patterns for the CASS program.
  • 802R Video Generator. The 802R Video Generator offers testing of HDMI up to 165 MHz or DVI single link or dual link testing. The analog component output provides 300 or 400 MHz pixel rate outputs.
  • 882D Video Generator. The 882D Video Generator is well suited for your manufacturing environment whether testing HDMI, dual link DVI, high speed analog displays (up to 400 MHz) or composite analog output. The 882D test instrument is equipped with automation features and pattern generation functions necessary for manufacturing. The 882D can optionally be equipped with a single link SDI output.
  • 701A Video Generator. The 701A Video Generator offers testing of DVI single link displays as well as RGB analog, component analog and composite video.

  • 980 SDI Video Generator / Analyzer module. The 980 SDI Video Generator module supports video and audio functional testing of next gen broadcast monitors and conversion devices up to 12G-SDI. The module is equipped with four (4) 12G-SDI-capable output ports. The output ports can aggregated for Dual link HD-SDI and Quad link 3G-SDI operation. A gen-lock input supporting both SD analog black burst and HD tri-level to sync the output clocks with a "house sync." The module provides a programmable audio sine wave generator supporting 2 channel through 12 channel LPCM audio. The analyzer function are provided by the SDI input ports. The analyzer function enables you to look at the incoming video in real time and view the essential video parameters in the status bar. You can also monitor the audio, audio channel status bits and you can eject audio through the 980's SPDIF connectors for external monitoring. The analyzer also enables you to view the incoming ancillary data in real time.
  • 882D Video Generator. The 88D Video Generator is well suited for your manufacturing environment whether testing HDMI, dual link DVI, high speed analog displays (up to 400 MHz) or composite analog output. The 882D test instrument is equipped with automation features and pattern generation functions necessary for manufacturing. The 882D can optionally be equipped with a single link SDI output.
  • 701A Video Generator. Offers testing of DVI single link displays as well as RGB analog, component analog and composite video.
