The Teledyne LeCroy quantumdata 882EA-DP test instrument with both a DisplayPort 1.1 transmitter and receiver (analyzer) option is packed with features for video and audio testing of DisplayPort monitors and sources at pixel rates up to 268 MHz. The 882EA-DP test instrument provides two (2) additional DisplayPort ports for passive monitoring of the link layer through the optional Aux Channel Analyzer (ACA) application. The ACA option enables you to monitor link training transactions either between the instruments Tx port or its Rx port with the DisplayPort device under test. The 882EA-DP instrument can optionally be equipped with industry approved compliance tests for Link Layer, EDID and HDCP 1.2.

The Teledyne LeCroy quantumdata 882EA-DP test instrument offers a rich set of features for testing DisplayPort 1.1 source and sink devices. The DisplayPort transmitter delivers video at pixel rates up to 268MHz. Users can specify the lane configuration and lane rate. One (1), 2, and 4-lane configurations are supported at per-lane rates of 1.62Gb/s and 2.7Gb/s. The DisplayPort analyzer enables you to run a variety of tests on DisplayPort source devices. The Aux Channel Analyzer (ACA) feature enables you to monitor the Link Layer transactions (link training, DDC [HDCP and EDID]) either while emulating a DisplayPort source or sink or you can passively monitor the Link Layer transactions between a DisplayPort source and sink device under test. Please refer to the 882EA-DP data sheet or the tabs on this webpage for a list of features, options and specifications.

The following is a partial list of features supported by the 882EA-DP Video Generator with Analyzer. For a complete list of features please refer to the Data Sheet and User Guide available at the links on this webpage.
