Using Custom Video Format XML Files



You can use custom video timing formats saved as XML files. In order to use these custom formats, you can follow the procedure below.
  1. Connect to the generator's web interface.
  2. Click on FTP Browser.
  3. On the Host Files side (your PC), browse to where the XML files are located.
  4. On the Instrument Files side, browse to /tffs0/library/userdata/.
  5. On the Host Files side, highlight and download the XML files. You should see them on the Instrument Files side.
  6. Connect to the generator's command line interface.
  7. Enter the following command to change the format path from the default path of /tffs0/library/formats.
    FMTP /tffs0/library/userdata
  8. On the generator,
    • press Source -> Options until you see Library
    • Press Library
    • scroll down until you see User
    • put a + next to User.
  9. Press Source button, and the custom formats should show up at the end of the list.
