The Quantum Data 780 Handheld Test Instrument has powerful EDID capabilities that
allow the user to load, examine, save, and emulate a large number of EDIDs. This
application note discusses some basic EDID functions and describes how EDIDs can be
safely removed from the 780 for security purposes.
