Why do I get Error 2071 when I change Formats?

Error 2071 indicates that the current Pixel Rate is too high for the selected video output interface. Most consumer and computer formats commonly used with HDMI, DVI, VGA and Component Video interfaces use a Pixel Clock Frequency that is too high for the Composite and S-Video interfaces. Therefore, when you change to Composite or S-Video, the generator may report Error 2071.

You should think of this as a warning; you just need to select a compatible timing format, such as one of the NTSC or PAL formats, and the error will be gone.
