The 802 Series video generators are highly configurable, and many of
these settings are retained through power cycle. Sometimes the easiest
way to get it back to a known state is to initialize it
to factory conditions for a fresh start.
To initialize the 802,
hold down the ACS and DSS keys while you power on the generator. Then
when prompted, select the proper key to proceed with the initialization.
(The 2 lit keys correspond to Yes and No in the display.) Note that
this will cause the generator to lose any user formats and images that
you have saved on it.
