FTP Browser: Saving snapshots to the CompactFlash card

The snapshot feature lets you capture a bitmap of the current image being generated by the 880 series generator.

For snapshots, you should set the generator to the video resolution and bit-depth for the image that you need. Snapshot only captures RGB, and the captured image will have the same horizontal and vertical resolution as the current format.

FTP Browser will save the bitmap file to whatever is the current directory in the left pane. The bitmaps are quite large, so you should save them to the compact flash card to avoid filling the internal flash drive. With the compact flash card inserted, pull down the “Look In” menu and select card0.

When you activate the snapshot button, a bitmap file will be created in the current directory in the generator. Then you can use the FTP Browser to copy it to your PC.
